Jenny Snyder Kozoroz joins the Lawrence Conservatory faculty with a distinguished career that blends performance, education, administration, and advocacy. Displaying a rich performing career, Kozoroz has held prominent positions including Assistant Principal Violist with the Virginia Symphony, Associate Principal Violist with the Asheville Symphony, Principal Violist with the Amarillo Symphony, and has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, Columbus Symphony, (OH) and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, and New World Symphony. 

A passionate chamber musician, Mrs. Kozoroz has performed and recorded with the Virginia Chamber Players, Ritz Chamber Players, Manhattan Virtuosi, and was violist and founding member of the Ambrosia String Trio which has performed extensively in the U.S. and abroad. She also was a former member of the Harrington String Quartet, and was the co-founder of Steeplechasers, a chamber music series celebrating the rich history of Milwaukee area churches and places of worship.

An enthusiastic educator, Mrs. Kozoroz has been on the faculties of Old Dominion University, Denison University, West Texas A&M, Brevard College, and Christopher Newport University, and has also taught at the Harlem School for the Arts where she was a member of the active mentoring ensemble, the West Side String Quartet. Kozoroz also was the Director and Viola Instructor of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra award winning Progressions program, and continues to be a strong advocate and advisor for the Sphinx Organization which focuses on the mentoring, increased representation, and development of underrepresented classical musicians. She has been on several summer festival faculties including the Sewanee Music Festival, The New England Music Camp, and the Brevard Music Center, of which she was the Program Director prior to her appointment at Lawrence.

Mrs. Kozoroz can be heard on the Albany, Centaur and Summit record labels, and plays on a 1983 Helmuth Keller.
