Lawrence’s Home for Original Art Works and Cultural Objects
There’s always something to see at the Wriston Art Galleries, including visiting exhibitions, student-designed exhibitions of their own work, as well as Lawrence’s extensive art collection of more than 5,800 original items.
Sculptures, Mural Poetry, and More
Take a walk across the Lawrence University campus or along College Avenue and you’ll find a diverse range of public art pieces, from sculptures to murals and everything in between.
Entrepreneurship meets the Fine Arts
Part of Lawrence’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, The Rabbit Gallery—or Appleton’s own Pop-Up Art Gallery—is run exclusively by Lawrence students. The gallery utilizes empty downtown storefronts for local artists to showcase their work.
Discover the Printmaking Process
Paper Fox Printmaking Workshop offers Lawrence students and the general public an opportunity to learn about printmaking processes from professional artists.
Study painting to photography and everything in between.
Fine Arts Highlights
The Rabbit Gallery | This is Lawrence
The idea is simple: Lawrence Students temporarily take over an empty store front on College Avenue, they clean and paint the space and then fill it with art made by Lawrence students, faculty and members of the Fox Cities community.
