Sara Van Cuyk

Sara Van Cuyk has been an advocate at Reach Counseling since April 2022 where she spent the majority of her time as a Youth and Teen advocate and Prevention Educator. Sara received her Master’s degree in School Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2024, and her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Norbert College in 2022. As the Campus Advocate for Lawrence University, Sara wants to create brave and safe spaces on campus for students to stand up and speak out about sexual violence. Sara’s passion for Campus Advocacy derives from her personal experiences as a college student and her love for working with young adults during transitional periods. In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time reading and listening to books, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sara’s contact information can be found below. Feel free to contact Sara’s phone number anytime Monday-Friday during her business hours 8:30-4:30 and she will be happy to respond through call, text, or email. If you need an advocate outside of those times, please call the Reach 24/7 hotline and another advocate will be able to assist you.
