Meet the Conservatory Office team

Rosie Cannizzo (LU '96) has been Director of Conservatory Operations since 2014. She previously served the university as Director of Conservatory Admissions and as Public Events Manager, overseeing the performing arts and convocation series.

Jillian Johnson, the Director of Conservatory Programming, is responsible for booking the Performing Arts Series concerts (including genres Classical, Jazz, World Music, New Music and Dance) along with other special events.

Claire Schmidt joined the Con Office in January 2024 and her main duty is scheduling the Con spaces. She grew up in the Appleton area and spent her childhood singing in the Girl Choir program through LCMS. Schmidt holds a B.A. in Theater from Millikin University.

Alvina Tan ’06 works at Recording Services at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music.

Heather joined the Con Office team in the spring of 2023.  Two of her primary responsibilities are supporting the Music Education students and faculty and coordinating the lending of instruments.  She has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Iowa and makes lovely oatmeal co
