Lawrence University alumni, families, and friends will have an opportunity to meet with President Laurie A. Carter in a series of receptions throughout the country. The “Time to Shine!” series runs mid-December to early May.

Beginning immediately, Lawrence students can ride Valley Transit buses for free with their student ID. The pilot program is a partnership between Lawrence University and the public transportation service that provides access to Appleton and surrounding communities.

Betsy Kowal Jett, the Lawrence Conservatory’s community programs manager, recruited four music students to launch the outreach support group Creative Recovery: Music in Motion in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Fox Valley.
