Welcome Week ’23 will kick off Sept. 5 as Lawrence University welcomes incoming students in advance of the start of the 2023-24 academic year. Making connections will be the focus of orientation activities.

LUaroo, a student-run music festival, will again be presented over two days during Memorial Day weekend. The work of the Band Booking Committee has been ongoing since October.

17 Days of Kindness, a campaign launched on campus last spring in advance of the inauguration of President Laurie A. Carter, returns for a second year, beginning April 27 and carrying through May 13.

Lawrence University student organizations will celebrate Earth Day with a week of activities beginning April 17. The sustainability-focused events will culminate with Earthfest, to be held on Main Hall Green on Earth Day, April 22.
