Susan comes to LU directly from Meijer where she worked in asset protection as a greeter at the front door. Now at Lawrence, she loves having positive interactions with people, getting to know students, faculty, and staff, and working as a member of the Campus Safety team to keep everyone safe.
Susan is from New York City — Staten Island, to be exact. She studied at Brown University (BA, Development Studies) and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard (MA, Landscape Architecture), and moved to Appleton in 2006 with her husband, Bill, and two daughters, Imogen and Gwen.
Bill is an English Professor at UW Oshkosh Fox Cities, Imogen is working on her master's at UW Green Bay in Environmental Policy, and Gwen is studying to be a paramedic in Eau Claire.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys gardening, taking walks, traveling, creating photo books, attending LU recitals and shows at the PAC, and playing with their four cats.
