Sarah is a native Appletonian and Lawrence played a major role in her early musical development. Studying clarinet at the Community Music School, attending Conservatory concerts, and performing on the Memorial Chapel stage inspired her to pursue a career in music. She spent the last 20 years in Arizona, Washington, and Texas, working as a music educator and music admissions professional. Sarah was thrilled to return to Wisconsin in October 2024 to rejoin the amazing Lawrence community. In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, camping, canoeing, playing the clarinet and bagpipes, and spending time with her Persian cat, Iona.
