Nori Kalman, a dedicated violin instructor, holds a Music Baccalaureate Diploma from the Arts Conservatory in Baia-Mare, Romania, as well as a Diploma in Music specializing in Instrumental Music with a focus on violin pedagogy (BM) from the renowned Academy of Music "G. Dima" in Cluj, Romania. Her commitment to excellence led her to attain Advanced Methodology Certification in Violin Teaching, resulting in her promotion to the highest rank of teaching degree achievable in Romania's educational system of that time. With over three decades of experience, Nori Kalman has cultivated a wealth of expertise and pedagogical insight through a successful career in providing personalized violin instruction.
Apart from her tenure at the Lawrence Community Music School, Ms. Kalman's teaching journey has encompassed diverse institutions. She contributed her expertise at the Conservatory of Arts in Baia-Mare, Romania, and later established private studios in Madison and Oshkosh. On the performance front as an orchestral violinist, she has actively participated in symphonic ensembles including the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra, Fox Valley Symphony, and Green Bay Symphony Orchestra.
Employing a classical pedagogical methodology rooted in tradition, Nori Kalman custom tailors her approach to violin instruction for each individual student.
