About

I am joyfully making theatre at Lawrence by teaching acting, theatre literature and history, and directing departmental productions.  A certified Alexander Movement Technique (AT) teacher, I also teach AT workshops and courses at LU and across the country.  An active member of Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE), the Mid-America Theatre Conference (MWC), and Alexander Technique International (ATI), I currently serve as Communications Co-Chair for ATI.  I have also served as the Faculty Athletic Rep here at Lawrence, and continue to enjoy the parallels between athletics and the performing arts.  My most recent research/creative work takes two paths:  inclusive pedagogy and embodying metaphor.
