I have been associated with Lawrence University, on and off, since 1984, when, as part of an initiation rite for my high school clique, I repelled off Kohler Hall in the middle of the night (now I shudder to even contemplate that ill-conceived brush with certain death). A few years later, I transferred to LU and earned a BA in History in 1995. In 2006 I returned to campus to work briefly as a campus security officer, and then returned for good in 2013. I then served as a campus safety officer for over a decade, including a stint as a building admin for the WCC, and in November of 2023 I transferred to Custodial Services, where I am currently employed. I've also written a historical fiction novel, Regarding Tiberius, which is available on Amazon: https://a.co/d/4PtphUN
