Rich is an integral member of the Career Center team, specializing in internships and experiential learning opportunities for students. He collaborates closely with students, employers, faculty, staff, and alumni to curate impactful experiences that foster firsthand insight into various career paths. Rich also co-teaches the career development class within the Business & Entrepreneurship major.
With a diverse educational foundation spanning communications, counseling, and human resources, Rich approaches his work with a developmental, individualized, and intersectional mindset. His primary objective is to empower individuals to recognize and harness their exceptional talents, guiding them toward fulfilling career and life trajectories aligned with their passions.
Passionate about social justice, equity, and inclusivity, Rich actively volunteers to dismantle barriers faced by underrepresented communities, including LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, both within the employment realm and beyond. His dedication earned him the esteemed Dr. P.B. Poorman Award for Outstanding Achievement on Behalf of LGBTQ People.
When he's not working, Rich indulges in his passion for the arts, from music and art to movies. In his leisure hours, he cherishes moments with family, friends, and Finn, his beloved golden retriever.
