Greg Milano developed a history course built through the lens of coffee. A blend of history, economics, and coffee culture, the course drew 39 students Winter Term, a huge jump from last year's debut.

Mauriah Donegan Kraker, a lecturer of dance at Lawrence University, has been selected for a prestigious month-long MacDowell Fellowship. It runs mid-March through mid-April.

Six Lawrence University faculty members have been granted 2023 tenure appointments. All six will be promoted to associate professor at the start of the 2023-24 academic year.

Lawrence seniors Amber Newman and Madeline Taylor took the research they did last summer with geosciences professor Relena Ribbons and presented at the recent American Geophysical Union (AGU) conference in Chicago.

Natalie Fordwor ’12 has taken the interdisciplinary lessons learned at Lawrence and applied them to her business plan in Ghana, which includes a children's TV show.

Bonnie Alger ’06 is the first female officer to serve as Officer-in-Charge of The United States Army Chorus, one of the military's elite performance groups. Her journey as a conductor began in the Lawrence Conservatory of Music.
