Greetings from Björklunden!
In August, we announced the formation of the new Friends of Björklunden, an organization of supporters, volunteers, donors and friends! We welcome broad participation by all who love Björklunden and want to share in stewarding the future of Lawrence University’s enchanting northern campus.
The name, Friends of Björklunden, harkens back to an earlier circle of supporters who shared the joys of spending time in this place with those close to them. This tradition continues, as we work together to advance Lawrence’s commitment to providing illuminating educational experiences.
Our focus will be on creating opportunities for Friends to help ensure Björklunden continues to flourish as a remarkable resource for Lawrence students, faculty, staff, and alumni; learners of all ages; individuals and groups on retreat; and the Door County community. Friends will play a special roll to help steward Björklunden as an accessible and verdant space promoting intellectual, spiritual, and cultural enrichment.
