Cultural Expressions helped close out the Black History Month celebration Saturday on the Lawrence University campus with an energetic mix of song, dance, and poetry in Warch Campus Center. Presented by Black Student Union (BSU), Cultural Expressions has grown into one of Lawrence’s most cherished traditions. It drew a full and enthusiastic crowd.
“It’s a Lawrence tradition and it showcases all the Black and Brown talent that we have on this campus,” said Amaka Uduh, co-president of BSU. “Cultural Expressions is a place for us to be who we want to be and who we are. We show who we are by doing what we love.”
