All admitted students receive a financial aid package with their admission letter, which includes scholarships and any need-based aid. Scholarships and Financial Aid are based on a combination of academic and personal achievements and financial need. Scholarships and financial aid vary in amounts from 20,000 to 32,000 USD per year. Once you have been awarded your scholarship and financial aid, you cannot lose it; the same level of scholarship and aid will be awarded annually through graduation.
All applicants are automatically considered for financial aid at the time of their completed application.
After submitting the application for admission, you must complete the Lawrence University Certification of Finance form, available within your application status portal, within five days of your application deadline. No other forms (i.e. CSS Profile, etc.) will be accepted in its place. Submitting the Certification form along with supporting financial documents allows our financial aid team to determine if you are eligible for financial assistance in addition to any merit scholarships the university may offer you.
Lawrence University's international scholarships and grants are very generous however, there are no full scholarships. You will be expected to contribute financially toward cost of attendance. The 2022-23 academic year comprehensive Cost of Attendance is estimated at 69,000 USD. This includes tuition, room, board, and fees. Our Cost of Attendance also includes estimates on what students typically spend on insurance, books, and personal expenses.
