Whether you want to study the chemistry of food, boost your data visualization skills, or travel to destinations like Buenos Aires or Hong Kong to study topics like urban culture and sustainability, D-Term offers a changing array of interesting courses to enhance your skills and knowledge in specialized areas.

Offered between fall and winter terms during the first two weeks of December, you can take brief, intensive courses that are not offered during the academic year. Courses can include workshops, fieldwork, and travel and offer 3 units of credit toward a Lawrence degree.
