• Values-Based Leadership

  The next LSB event will be on November 7th at 4:30pm in Science 102:
  Harry Kraemer(Executive Partner, Madison Dearborn Partners; Clinical Professor of Management and Strategy at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University; Former CEO of Baxter International; Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Lawrence University) will be speaking on Values-Based Leadership. Some preliminary readings are outside Briggs 212, or online here, here, and here. If you are a Lawrence student or faculty member interested in joining Mr. Kraemer and others for dinner afterwards, please let Adam Galambos know.

  Last year we could not fit an Entrepreneurship Summit into the schedule, so this year we are making sure that we cover this field of great interest to many of us. Two distinguished and very accomplished alumnae, Lan Huang \'93 and Susan Palm \'80, will come to campus to share their experiences and insights.

This event will be part of the \"Shine Light, More Light on Your Future!\" conference.

• Management consulting workshop

  The management consulting workshop will take place on November 15th in the Barber room (Downer) from 9:00 till 3:00. The facilitators will be Scott Myers \'79 (28 years experience at Accenture), Bruce Myers (34 years experience at McKinsey, Ernst & Young, Alix Partners and other), Jonathan Bauer \'83 (15 years experience at Deloitte) and Abir Sen \'97 (experience at Deloitte and then as an entrepreneur in two health care start-ups).
