About Ellenzweig Associates, Inc.
Founded in 1965, Ellenzweig Associates, Inc., has built a reputation for innovation in the architectural design of teaching and research facilities. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the firm specializes in complex, technically challenging projects - state-of-the-art teaching facilities for academic, medical, and corporate clients - and transportation-related facilities for municipal clients. Initial commissions at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology launched the firm's continuing focus on academic facilities. Ellenzweig Associates serves primarily colleges and universities, and has designed science and technology facilities, classroom buildings, libraries, student centers, art buildings, athletic facilities, and student residences.
Ellenzweig has won over 60 design awards, and its work has been featured in the International Architecture Yearbook and published in Architecture, Architectural Record, and Progressive Architecture, among other journals. In recent years, Ellenzweig has designed science facilities at Allegheny, Augustana, Boston, Bowdoin, Bryn Mawr, Davidson, and Kenyon Colleges.
