For those students who wish to take placement exams. Testing, including on-line testing, concludes at 5:00 p.m. Students should allot 1-2 hours for each test and should not plan to begin any single test after 3:30 p.m. Results of tests that are completed after 5:00 p.m. may not be available in time for advising appointments.

This theatre company based at Eastern Michigan University will make you laugh, think, question, and feel as they explore college life through live performance and follow-up dialogue. Open-ended scenes and monologues encourage questioning and dialogue among audience members.

Presentations and discussions about academic departments, inter-
departmental programs, and other areas of concentration. Come and
meet professors and get information about your academic options. All
sessions are open to all new students. Topics and locations will be posted.

Advanced music theory placement exam. Students interested in this
exam must have taken the 8:30 a.m. music theory placement exam.

Information

Schedules for nearby worship services are available in your residence hall.

Conservatory auditions are scheduled by the Conservatory of Music and are posted in the Music-Drama Center. For further information, contact the Conservatory Help Desk, Conservatory office, or ensemble director.

ID card photographs may be taken on arrival day or during business hours during the week. ID cards are needed to access dining facilities, some student residences, the Recreation Center, and for checking out library materials. Photos are taken in the Dining Services office, Downer Commons, first floor.

Information Technology Services is available to assist you with computer-related issues and computer account information. Stop by the Instructional Technology Center (Seeley G. Mudd Library, Room 214 – second floor), Monday-Friday during business hours.

If you have changes to your course schedule after meeting with your academic advisor and/or completing placement exams, you will finalize those changes during your assigned web registration time. Watch for details in an e-mail you will receive after your arrival on campus.

 

Health Services Notes

The following students are required to report to the Health Center to meet with the nurse for a consultation no later than Tuesday, September 23:
    • Any student requiring regular allergy injections
    • Any student with a chronic illness
    •
Any student who has had an injury or serious illness within the previous
60 days
