The Office of Multicultural Affairs' (OMA) mission is to help provide the resources necessary for all students to express and explore culture and identity. In order to enhance programs, this office collaborates with student organizations; whose primary focus is cultural awareness and celebration; university departments, organizations, and the broader community.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs presents the second "Dinner in the Diversity Center", a monthly social gathering focusing on conversation, cultural education and learning about, and how to make, authentic food.

This month's dinner we will learn how to make Indian Corn Soup and Wild Rice Casserole with Vicky Matson, a woman who works in food service specializing in Native American dishes.

Time: 6-8pm

We welcome you to the Office of Multicultural Affairs' Second forum of the new IDENTITY FORUM SERIES!

sThis month's forum: "Religion: Faith and the Choice to Believe."

We will have a panel of LU students, staff and faculty discussing their religious beliefs and how these beliefs (and religion in general) have shaped who they are. Rose Wasielewski and the panelists will also take questions from the audience.

Venue: Wriston Auditorium. - Time: 8pm - Date: Thursday, Nov. 12.

Next, CODA/OMA present to you the DIVERSITY DAY! This Satruday, 14th, representatives from various diverse community organizations will be present to provide information and answer questions.

The Office of Multicualtural Affairs presents "Dinner in the Diversity Center!!" This Dinner is a monthly social gathering that focuses on conversation, cultural education, and learning about, and how to make, authentic food! These Dinners will be held on the third Thursday of EVERY MONTH!

This month's Dinner features authentic Hispanic Enchiladas! with Ms. Mayra Pasayes, a Hispanic Cultural Support Specialist witih AASD/FVTC.

You should have RSVP'd to this email: rose.wasielewski@lawrence.edu by the 19th of October. The Dinner is set for Thursday, Oct. 22nd. at 6pm. See you there!

Next up will be a Halloween Party at Liberty Hall in Kimberly on of all nights - HALLOWEEN!!!

Who could ever forget last year's political pinata and Bob Nelson spinning the tunes. Bob will be back again this year, so bring your requests.
