Rick manages Media Relations and is the central point of contact for media inquiries. His responsibilities focus on increasing the visibility of the college through cultivating media attention, working with faculty and journalists on breaking stories and facilitating interviews, and drafting press releases and media announcements on major campus activities and the achievements of the college and its people.

Marti writes and edits many campus publications, including Lawrence Today. She also writes for the web and contributes to the creative process in many communications projects.

Marsha directs the graphic design work of the publications staff and serves as the designer for Lawrence Today and other university publications. She also engages in special design projects for the Office of the President, Development, and Admissions.

As the other member of the design team in Communications, Liz provides design support for a wide variety of university publications, including publications of the Theatre Arts Department, Lawrence Academy of Music, and the Wriston Art Center galleries. She is also responsible for photography assignments and often takes photos herself.
