APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University women's tennis standout Beth Larson put together a perfect week and was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.
Larson, a freshman from Maplewood, Minn., went 3-0 on the week at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and is now 7-0 on the season.
The former star at Mounds Park Academy capped her week with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Grinnell College's Jill Akiyama, and she teamed with Lisa Ritland to beat Akiyama and Tatyna Sukharnikova 8-3 at No. 1 doubles.
