Welcome to the Economics Department Website. You are here because you are considering coming to Lawrence and possibly majoring in economics.

The department's focus is to prepare undergraduate students with a solid foundation in economics. Classes are small. Many junior and senior level students take self design courses called tutorials, where individual student work closely with a faculty.

In past, students with economics major have been successful in both their professional and academic careers.
