Your curriculum at Lawrence begins by covering the basic mechanics of snare drum technique and ends by letting you focus upon your individual interests in solo marimba, jazz studies, orchestral repertoire, or contemporary solo percussion repertoire. In between, your lessons will move you through rigorous studies of two and four mallet technique on marimba, vibraphone, xylophone and bells, orchestral instruments, timpani, drum set, world percussion, and multiple percussion pieces.
