Lawrence University has supported Prof. Karen Nordell and many undergraduate students’ involvement with a variety of outreach activities that have established partnerships between teachers and students at Lawrence and Fox Valley area schools. Many of these activities focus on reaching out to a variety of audiences with the excitement of nanoscale science and nanotechnology.
Since 2001, these partnerships and activities have involved more than 400 local students, 80 area teachers, and 80 Lawrence undergraduates.
