The athletic training room is located on the ground level of Alexander Gymnasium, 1100 East South River Street, and will be available for use two hours before each contest. Our daily operating hours are from 2:00-7:00 p.m. All treatments are available at Alexander Gymnasium.


For Visiting Teams
If your team will not be traveling with a certified or student athletic trainer, please provide taping supplies and we will be happy to provide any treatments needed. We have four facilities where we host events. Please see the list below to see what treatments are available.
Alexander Gymnasium Athletic Training Room: Ice bags, ice cups, hydrocollator packs, and whirlpools are available upon request. Ultrasound and electrical stimulation are available only with a written request from your team physician or certified athletic trainer.
Boldt Natatorium (inside Buchanan Kiewit Recreation Center): Ice bags and hydrocollator packs available upon request. Ultrasound and electrical stimulation are not available at this location unless prior arrangements have been made. Also, ultrasound and electrical stimulation are available only with a written request from your team physician or certified athletic trainer.
Lawrence Tennis Courts: Ice bags are available, and all other treatments are available in Alexander Gymnasium Athletic Training Room upon request.
Appleton Family Ice Center: Ice bags and hydrocollator packs are available upon request.
Event Coverage: A certified athletic trainer from Lawrence University will be on site at all home events and practices. A physician will be on the sidelines for all home football and hockey games.
Hospital: Appleton Medical Center (920-738-6300 or 911) is located one mile north of Alexander Gymnasium on Meade Street.
