The outdoor track season schedule consists of coed invitational meets ranging in size from a few teams to a dozen or more. In recent years, the Vikings have qualified regularly for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Madeline Steininger (pictured) placed ninth in the high jump at NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Marietta. Madeline Steininger (pictured) has qualified for the high jump at NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships. Steininger paces Vikings at MWC Championships
Madeline Steininger (pictured) won the high jump and placed in two other events to pace the Lawrence track teams at the Midwest Conference Championships at Carroll. Steininger won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 5.25 inches, which provisionally qualifies her for the NCAA Division III Championships. Steininger is now tied for the 10th-highest jump in the nation. She also placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 16-2.5 and took fifth in the 100-meter hurdles. More ... Results
