We invite you to visit Lawrence and discover the way that we teach, learn, work and play. Experience the students, the faculty, and the feel of the place in person. Whether this is your first look or a return trip, you may either arrange an individual visit or attend a campus visit day.
Take a Campus Tour: Led by a current Lawrence student, the one-hour walking tour will allow you to see all the major academic buildings, the Conservatory of Music, the library, student union, and one of our residence halls. Tours are offered several times each weekday and, during the academic year, on Saturday.
Have an interview: Though an interview is not required for admission, we strongly encourage you to speak with an admissions counselor; this opportunity provides you and your family with a chance to ask any questions that you may have about campus life, academics or financial aid.
Sit in on classes: A wide variety of classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, making these great days for you to visit. Students interested in music may be able to attend ensemble rehearsals. Classes are not offered in the summer!
Eat a meal: We can arrange for you and your family to eat lunch in our dining hall with current students . If you are staying overnight on campus, we will provide you with additional meal passes.
Meet with Faculty or Coaches : We're happy to make appointments for you to meet with a faculty member or coach, but we do need two weeks' advance notice. We are unable to arrange such meetings during the summer, term breaks or on weekends.
Stay overnight: We can arrange for a one-night stay in a residence hall. This option is available Sunday through Thursday nights during the academic year; you may not stay overnight during exam weeks, term breaks, or on Friday or Saturday nights. For availibility reasons, only admitted students may stay overnight during the month of April. We require two weeks' advance notice to schedule any overnight visit.
