One thing most folks wouldn't guess about me: I grew up on a farm and almost majored in Agriculture Education instead of Music Education...I opted for Music Ed at the last minute because I couldn't face all the science courses...

Advice for Conservatory students: Explore all your options with an open mind and do your research. Make sure you visit every institution you are considering before you audition - you will not want to put yourself through the stress of auditioning at a school if you know you cannot see yourself there for 4+ years. Ask lots of questions and experience every aspect of a school/conservatory while you are visiting. We would be happy to provide you with the Lawrence experience - come for a visit soon!
