Diversity at Lawrence is not just found in the different skin tones of our students; it’s found in the collection of harmonies sung by our choirs and played by our orchestra and ensembles; it’s the words crafted in rhythmic stanzas by our poets. Diversity is heard in the echoes of rubber tires carrying cyclists across the pavement to their Freshman Studies class; the thumping of shoes, dropping of weighs, shouts of triumph filling Alexander gym; the fading of laughter breezing across the 84-acred campus.
