Granada - School for International Training: Language, Community and Social Change

This challenging language immersion program focuses on Spain's turbulent history and cultural innovation in the face of growing diversity within its borders and the European Union. Based in Granada, with its fusion of Christian and Muslim traditions, students gain first-hand insight into turning points in Spanish history, immigration, and avant-garde cultural movements. All students conduct either Field Study projects or Independent Study projects appropriate for their skills. Applicants must have junior or senior standing at the beginning of the program, have completed Spanish 202, or have demonstrated equivalent proficiency, and have a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
