Experience the incredible achievements of Lawrence University's Class of 2023 through a captivating music collaboration! Tomi Oladunjoye ’23 (Digital Composer), Michael Murphy ’23 (Electric Guitar), and Nico Hernandez-Webster ’25 (Tenor Sax), talented conservatory students, have come together to create a soulful melody that perfectly embodies the spirit of triumph and new beginnings.
President's Ball 2023
Now held the last weekend of April, this year's theme was Under the Sea: Atlantis and featured a night of dancing, live jazz music and a DJ, themed refreshments, and the opportunity to show off your best-themed formal wear. Lawrentians enjoyed a majestic evening with friends and a special appearance from Lawrence University’s President.

Winter Term, Winter Fun
Winter Term has drawn to a close, and while the calendar has turned to spring, the memories of our winter together will carry on. From cherished traditions such as Cultural Expressions to the LUgge-inspired building of snow sculptures, from bubble soccer in the Wellness Center to sledding down the Memorial Hall hill, Lawrentians embraced Winter Term every step of the way. As we catch our breath during the break and look forward to the arrival of Spring Term, we share in this video the sights and sounds of our winter together.
Lawrence's Newest Viking!
We introduced a new logo for Vikings Athletics in 2021, one that combined the Amos Lawrence Family Coat of Arms with traditional Viking heraldry. The one unifying factor? The antelope! This is Lawrence - SOL Studios
SOL Studios are student created and operated recording studios on the Lawrence University campus. The organization is free and open to all Lawrence students (regardless of musical interest or major), and houses a range of available instruments and recording technology. Moreover, SOL Studios is a musical community and safe space, where students learn from and support each other.

A Musical Journey | This is Lawrence
As a student in the Conservatory of Music, Martha McDonnell ’14 found a way to balance her two distinct musical interests: classical violin performance and fiddling. Her unique skill set landed her a spot in Sting’s musical The Last Ship before she had even graduated, and she’s since performed on Broadway in Steve Martin’s Bright Star.
